A dedicated CAN display system for the Mazda MX-5 ND.
ND-CD01 gives MX-5 ND owners a clean way to monitor live vehicle data without compromising the interior. Instead of using a generic universal gauge or tablet, ND-CD01 is built around compact round displays with a restrained interface.
The system connects through the OBD port using the included OBD connector and reads data directly from the vehicles raw CAN bus traffic, making it very responsive. Installation is fully reversible and does not require cutting, soldering, or permanent wiring changes.
Available in single-display and dual-display configurations, ND-CD01 can show key live data such as tire pressure and temperature, coolant temperature, intake temperature, RPM, speed, throttle position, brake input, G-force, and other supported signals.
The images show only a few of the available layouts and data signals.
Designed for enthusiasts, track drivers, and anyone who wants better visibility of what the car is doing — without making the interior feel hacked together.
Fully supported on the ND1 and ND2. The ND3 will only work with a handful of signals.
Included:
- ND-CD01 display unit
- OBD connector
- A-Pillar mount
- Wiring harnesses
In development:
The expansion module is currently in development and is not included with the ND-CD01 display kit.
The expansion module will add support for oil temperature and oil pressure sensors. It will connect directly to the OBD connector and feed the sensor data to the ND-CD01 displays, allowing oil temperature and oil pressure to be shown alongside the standard vehicle data from the CAN bus.
This means the display system can be expanded without replacing the existing displays or changing the main installation. Once available, the module will act as a plug-in upgrade for users who want to monitor oil temperature and oil pressure through their existing ND-CD01 setup.
